Shruti Chopra is ready with her IPL tarot predictions and she begins with the opening game – Sunrisers Hyderabad v Royal Challengers Bangalore. To have a listen to the prediction, check out this link:
The last time these two teams met, it was the final match of the last season which saw the Sunrisers take the title.
The Sunrisers would hope to pick up from where they left off last season but they really should be wary of getting too caught up in their plans. Their batting starts really well – strong command, good use of their middle overs, but then they seem to fall away. Expectedly, bowling appears to be their strongest point, especially towards the latter end where their miserly ways could prove to be a huge boost to them.
Moving on to the Royal Challengers Bangalore – they’re without their captain Virat Kohli – and I believe this could hurt them, now they’re not doing a lot wrong, they’re just not aggressive enough and Kohli is the one to instil that energy in team – so let’s begin with their batting – it’s steady, it’s balanced but it doesn’t appear to go on full throttle mode – I don’t see them living up to their standard destructive style of batting. The bowlers still do a decent job of maintaining control except for the middle overs where they could lose their way, giving the opposition some lucky breaks but only to reign them back in.
If the Sunrisers bat first, they may give themselves a better chance to win the opener, but if they don’t then it’ll be more of a challenge to get through – but even then, they should somehow scrape through. So it’s Tarot Advantage: Sunrisers Hyderabad.
