Virat Kohli should be back for Royal Challengers Bangalore’s home game against the Mumbai Indians who have managed to garner a good momentum with their young players coming to the forefront. Shruti Chopra brings her prediction for the 12th match of the season, which you can have a listen to or read below.
Starting off with Bangalore, the cards show them to have a better chance of competing if they bat second because their bowling may be too defensive and may not be able to generate results quick enough adding immense pressure on their batting to take charge. Speaking of their batting, it appears to start off on a shaky note, but eventually managing a stable and strong end to the innings. Now it’s not that the Mumbai Indians’ bowlers won’t have anything to say about this! In fact it seems as if they would have stepped up their aggression, improved their plans and would look to go forth in an all out attack – how successful will this be – time will tell. As for Mumbai’s batting, it starts off on a positive note and continue through to the middle overs in a similar fashion, but they may need to be weary of losing their way towards the end by not scoring at a rate they are capable of.
One of the major reasons why I went with the Mumbai Indians for their game against the Sunrisers was because of good teamwork – my reasons will be the same today. Bangalore still need time to flourish whereas Mumbai feel comfortable in building and growing upward. So although this could be a tighter finish if Bangalore bat second, but tarot advantage is with Mumbai Indians.
