The one team that has deprived the Mumbai Indians of two points have been the Rising Pune Supergiant and now the Pune team come to Wankhede for match number 28. This is how Shruti predicts this one.
The Mumbai team are on a roll with six consecutive wins and I believe the highest run of wins is seven, so will they equal that – well, we’ll know at the end of Monday night. But let me focus on what I’m here for – predicting how the game will go. Mumbai may have a tentative start with the bat and then, as they get comfortable against some very sharp, and aggressive bowling from Pune, we should see the batsmen rise to the occasion and make something good of their innings. As for Pune’s batting, they appear to be strong and resilient themselves but I will add here, they will also face a confident Mumbai team with the ball and with their fielding – this is where I feel the real battle of the game will be.
This is tough one because the match up appears to be quite intense, especially since both teams should fight tooth and nail. Just like Kolkata v Bangalore last night, there should be quite a few ups and downs, but the most slightest edge and tarot advantage goes to Mumbai Indians because of some competitive bowling.
